GarisHalus asked:

because in Silat we have a lot of Mantra that sounds like Quranic versus but in fact not … will that be an insult to UMNO leaders because most of them are Chairman or President of Silat organizations in Malaysia such as Silat Gayung, Silat Lintau, Silat Helang Putih etc

for example “Allahuakbar … atas junjungan Nabi Muhammad s.a.w … datuk khalifah … panglima di tanah … juga di langit … anak cucu ingin berjihad … bla bla bla … ”

I wonder who’s that “Datuk Khalifah” and “Panglima”? … because in Islam we were told to seek help only from Allah .. not any datuk or Panglima hitam watsoeva

Zee: The message contained in the film “Boys Don’t Cry” is that when society is not tolerant of peoples’ differences, it can often lead to tragedy. The Muslim clerics’ fatwa against “tomboys” promotes hate and intolerance – i.e. the same kind of hate and intolerance that led to the tragic ending of “Boys Don’t Cry”.
